Paddock Influence was established as an independent editorial platform covering Formula 1 and international motorsport. We operate outside the conventional press structure - not affiliated with any team, series, or commercial partner, which allows us to cover the sport on its own terms.

The team behind Paddock Influence brings together professional experience from LAT Images, Getty Images, and some of the sport's most prominent publications and agencies. That background shapes how we work: with access, intention, and a standard for the work that reflects the environments we operate in.

We are based across the United States and the United Kingdom, with contributors across the world, covering Formula 1 and international motorsport at race level and beyond.

Our coverage sits at the intersection of performance, business, and human storytelling. We approach motorsport not as a series of results to be reported, but as an industry with its own culture, power dynamics, and people worth understanding in depth.

  • Race strategy, technical analysis, and the competitive forces shaping each season
  • Sponsorship, brand psychology, and the commercial architecture of Formula 1
  • Paddock culture, the fan community, and the sport's growing global influence
  • Legacy, history, and the figures who shaped motorsport over generations
  • Human stories: the people behind the sport and their "why"
  • Original photography and visual documentary of Formula 1 and beyond

Paddock Influence maintains full editorial independence. All content is produced independently and is not subject to review, approval, or influence by any team, series, sponsor, or commercial entity. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage.

We are committed to accuracy, fairness, and transparency in all reporting. Corrections are made promptly and clearly noted. Where opinion is expressed, it is clearly identified as such and separated from factual reporting.

Olga Ganay
Founder · Editor-in-Chief · Photojournalist
Olga Ganay
Olga built Paddock Influence on a question that kept surfacing in every paddock she worked in: why does so much of this world go unseen? With a foundation in marketing, psychology, and cinematography - shaped further through photographic experience at LAT Images and Getty Images - she approaches motorsport by looking beyond the obvious, examining the business, human behavior, and unseen forces that define what happens beneath the surface.
Philip Hurst
Founding Partner · Senior Photojournalist
Philip Hurst
Philip's work exists at the edge of what a photograph can do: editorial, documentary, and deeply technical all at once. With photographic experience at LAT Images and Getty Images across live race environments, his instinct has always been the same: get closer to what's real. A cinematographer and certified drone pilot, he brings that same precision beyond the lens - into luxury motorsport watch design and partnerships across Porsche Sprint Challenge and USAC.
Glenn Dunbar
Founding Partner · Senior Motorsport Photojournalist
Glenn Dunbar
Glenn has spent more than two decades at the centre of Formula 1 - covering 300+ grands prix, serving as official team photographer for Williams, Racing Point, Aston Martin and McLaren, and building his career through LAT Images and Getty Images - before stepping away to work independently for the first time, owning the copyright to his images on his own terms. He joined Paddock Influence to take that access further: to tell the deeper stories he had always wanted to tell.
Thiemo Albers-Daly
Senior Motorsport Correspondent
Thiemo Albers-Daly
Award-winning journalist Thiemo has built his career around one enduring conviction: motorsport's most important stories are rarely found in the results alone. Through more than 300 long-form conversations across his interview series On the Kerbs, he has explored the people, perspectives, and personalities that shape the paddock. His work spans DriveTribe, Supercar Blondie, and The Paddock Chronicle. At Paddock Influence, he continues to pursue the stories that extend far beyond the race report.
Hannah Palpant
Correspondent · Photojournalist
Hannah Palpant
Hannah learned to shoot in environments that don't wait - Division I football, basketball, NFL. Those experiences sharpened her focus on athlete psychology, emotional timing, and behind-the-scenes storytelling. Her move into motorsport reflects a natural evolution of that approach, applying her experience in high-performance sports coverage to the people, pressure, and culture that define racing.
Anna Kharchenko
Editorial & Social Media Contributor
Anna Kharchenko
Anna covers the side of Formula 1 that broadcasts don't reach: the fan communities, the psychology of team loyalty, the culture that lives between race weekends. Based in the UK, she built and runs one of Ukraine's leading F1 digital communities, and brings that understanding of what audiences actually care about into everything she writes.
